This paper will present a sample of the most outstanding Almohad ceramics that
are preserved in the Archaeological Museum of Borriana. These pieces have been
found during the archaeological excavations that were carried out in the city and its
surroundings. Special attention has been paid to the calligraphic decoration painted
or engraved on the clay, as well as to epigraphic stamps. The analysis of the epigraphic
decoration on these ceramic pieces have produced results that are complementary
to those obtained from the typological analysis. [-]
