The automotive industry is one of the most important sectors of the Spanish economy,
and one of the sectors that exports the most. In this case, one of the main objectives of
this project is to study the evolution of the sector since the beginning of the pandemic,
as well as the behavior of exports during the same period. Due to the health crisis, there
have been numerous events that have affected its usual evolution, COVID 19 has been
a real shock (black swan) that has accelerated numerous changes within the industry,
as well as changes in the behavior of society as a whole. Finally, to show the great
dynamism of the sector and its capacity to adapt to complex circumstances, through a
rapid recovery. [-]
