The work and personal context in which companies and workers live are constantly
changing, so companies around the world have to act quickly and effectively to find a
balance that allows employees to carry out their tasks to achieve the objectives of the
day, week, month, year of the company, but without neglecting the motivation of the
employee at his job to achieve it.
Many companies wonder: Does a company's remuneration system influence employee
motivation? Companies have to find new ways to motivate their employees because if
they don't, this can cause their employees to be unhappy in their company and in their
jobs and consequently not to be productive. Companies have to give importance to their
economic and non-economic incentives, their emotional salary to keep the worker happy
and satisfied.
In the theoretical framework of our final degree work, we will focus on explaining what a
company's remuneration system should look like and extrinsic and intrinsic motivation.
From the information gathered from different authors to later contrast it.
In the methodology of our study, we will analyze the company in which I am doing the
“Galope Bravo, SL” internship, which is an agency that has been operating in the digital
marketing and advertising sector in Valencia since 2014, when it was founded.
The objective of my final degree work (TFG) is to demonstrate whether “Does a
company's remuneration system influence employee motivation? As a result of
contrasting the theory of various authors on how a remuneration system based on
economic and non-economic incentives should be with the reality of companies on how
they manage the motivation of their employees and their remuneration system, more
specifically in the company "Galope Bravo, SL". The interest of my end of degree work
lies in comparing the theory that I have studied during my career in Human Resources
subjects such as Human Resources Management or in Organizational Design and
Change with my internship stay where we will analyze the company and its employees
by conducting interviews and a questionnaire to obtain relevant information that can
demonstrate that work motivation depends on a good incentive system.
Finally, we will analyze what were the problems that we found in Galope Bravo's Human
Resources department and what could be the actions that could be carried out to solve
these problems to improve the organization. [-]
