The importance of drug delivery has increased during last years to get the
enhancement of the pharmaceutical compounds release in a controlled and a
targeted way. To achieve this goal, hydrogels and nanoparticles, polymersomes
for instance, are being investigated since last decades. The main objective of
the project is the synthesis of polymersomes loaded with a gelator (ImVal8),
which forms a fibrillar network at neutral pH, and charged with a drug
(naproxen) for its controlled release. This TFG work takes part into this project.
Concretely, in this TFG, two gelators were synthesised, ImVal8 and ImValPy,
which are going to be used to form the fibrillar network inside polymersomes. In
addition, calibrates at different pH to detect the quantity of naproxen released in
the medium were carried out. [-]
