(2011). [-]

A World Health Organization study (2020) states that more and more people in the world are suffering
from depression.
That’s why, information about emotions has been gathered with an emphasis on sadness as it’s the
emotion that has been intended to self-regulate. Emotional education has also been studied because it’s
ideal to develop it at an early age. And, thanks to the research carried out around it, the steps that must
be taken to achieve the capacity for emotional self-regulation have been made, specifically that of
sadness, in the face of conflicting situations.
After obtaining all this information, a proposal for education intervention has been developed for students
in the third level of early childhood education whose goal is for the little ones to acquire the ability to selfregulate their sadness.
This project has been called El vaso medio lleno because it is inspired by the philosophy of coach Ponce
(2019) and has considered imparting it from a positive perspective.
Finally, it should be added that the expected results after making this proposal follow the line of the study
developed by Caspi (2000) and de work of Morris Silk, Morris, Steinberg, Aucoin y Keyes (2011). [-]
