The present Final Degree Project is intended for boys and girls of 5 years, although it can also be
applied to the entire Early Childhood Education stage making the corresponding adaptations in the
different activities.
We are part of a diverse and multicultural world, in which each country is characterized by its own
traits and making this cultural diversity known to children helps them to become more openminded, empathetic adults and to consider other different points of view from ours, in addition to
other benefits. The same diversity that we can observe in society can also be found in our
classrooms.
The aim of this work is to bring students aspects of the culture and customs of the Chinese people,
that there are other ways of seeing the world and understanding reality, that there is no one culture
above another and to be able to work on interculturality in the children’s classroom. We will do it
through significant learning through manipulative activities with which they can see other cultural
aspects different from ours. [-]
