Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is a chronic and degenerative pathology of the central
nervous system (CNS), and constitutes one of the most frequent causes of neurological
disability in young adults. Reduced information-processing speed (IPS) is a primary cognitive
deficit of MS patients. The Symbol Digit Modalities Test (SDMT) is a sensitive test to assess
IPS in MS. Objective: Explore, using an adapted functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging
(fMRI) version of the SDMT, the relationship between IPS and functional connectivity (FC) in
MS patients as compared to healthy controls (HC). [-]
