Proyecto fotográfico AguarTE

Abstract

Mi Trabajo de Final de Grado se trata de un proyecto fotográfico compuesto por varias imágenes que ilustran la situación de despoblación y lucha que sufre la provincia de Teruel. Lo que pretendo con él es dar más visibilidad a dicha provincia y demostrar que aunque se trata de una tierra maltratada se puede vivir en ella. Para ello intentaría fotografiar la vida de algunas de las familias y personas que a pesar de las dificultades como el abandono de habitantes, falta de infraestructuras de comunicación (trenes, carreteras, autovía..), de banda ancha (internet, 4G)... etc y todo lo que ello implica, apuestan por su tierra. También es importante dar a conocer a otras familias que, aún no habiendo nacido en ella, se han mudado a Teruel para poder labrarse un futuro, pues hay pueblos que ofrecen viviendas y trabajo a cambio de familias que se queden a vivir en él.

My Degree Final Project is a photographic project consisting of multiple images that illustrate the situation of depopulation and struggle that Teruel’s province is experiencing. The intention is giving more visibility to the province and demonstrate that, although it is a battered land, you can live comfortably in it. In this sense, I would try to photograph the lives of some families and people who, despite difficulties such as low population density, lack of communication infrastructures (trains, roads, motorways ...), broadband (internet, 4G)... etc and all that this implies, they bet on their land. It is also important to introduce other families that, even though they were not born there, they have moved to Teruel in order to carve out a future for themselves, as there are villages that are offering housing and work in exchange of their installation there.
