(Brannon Braga, David S. Goyer, Robert J. Sawyer, ABC, 2009-2010) o Héroes
(Heroes, Tim Kring, NBC, 2006-2010). Juego de Tronos (Game of Thrones,
David Benioff y D.B.

After the end of Lost (J.J. Abrams, Jeffrey Lieber, Damon Lindelof, ABC, 2004-
2010), many are the series that have tried to imitate his eloquent narrative,
inspiring a lot of contemporary productions such as Flashforward (Brannon
Braga, David S. Goyer, Robert J. Sawyer, ABC, 2009-2010) or Heroes (Tim
Kring, NBC, 2006-2010). Game of Thrones (David Benioff and D.B. Weiss, HBO,
2011-2019), released only a year later, has managed to rise as a new television
landmark and mass phenomenon, culminating recently in a series finale that,
again, differs from the expected by much of the audience and transports us back
ten years, when another hero and another villain also fought for the fate of their
universe, the then future of the island, in front of the one of the iron throne.
This final degree work will compare Lost and Game of Thrones, series
separated by a decade that have marked the serial consumption of the 21st
century. We will look at their narrative keys, their character construction and the
notion of otherness. [-]
