Polémica sobre la existencia de un deber incondicionado a decir la verdad desde la perspectiva de Immanuel Kant

Abstract

Immanuel Kant (1724-1804) es considerado el padre del idealismo además de ser el filósofo de la libertad y autonomía, y quien establece los principios morales básicos sobre la ética en la actualidad. Filósofo de la Ilustración, considera que la humanidad debe pensar por sí misma basándose en la razón. Solo de esta forma será capaz de liberarse de la opresión y ejercer su libertad. A lo largo de este trabajo se observará como actualmente el concepto de verdad está atravesando una crisis y como la teoría moral que plantea Kant sería una forma idónea de acabar con este problema y posicionar la veracidad de forma incondicional pero ello sería inviable dados todos los matices que deberían tenerse en cuenta. Por ello, se plantea convertirlos en el horizonte al que queremos llegar, matizándolos si hace falta y dándoles una visión más plural a través del diálogo. Se trata de un horizonte normativo al que aspirar que, aun siendo utópico, nos permitirá avanzar.

Throughout this work it will be observed how the concept of truth is currently going through a crisis and how the moral theory that Kant poses would be an ideal way to end this problem and position the truthfulness unconditionally but that would be unfeasible given all the nuances That should be taken into account. Therefore, it is proposed to turn them into the horizon we want to reach, shading them if necessary and giving them a more plural vision through dialogue. It is a normative horizon to aspire to, which, even being utopian, will allow us to move forward.
