This article studies under the discursive frames of audiovisual anthropology, neoliberalism and postfeminism, some forms (phenotypes, dynamics, context and roles) in which female characters were embodied in the spot Bonafont, fluye en ti (García, 2016) of the Danone Group bottled water brand. Through a denotative and connotative analysis this audiovisual text configures an approach, of many possible ones, that allows us to glimpse some representative and redistributive contradictions intertwined in an audiovisual story that celebrates the diversity of ways of being a woman, the empowerment and free choice of women. This reveals how this audiovisual text contributes to the construction and diffusion of cultural products that can be associated with expressions of symbolic violence against women. [-]
