dc.description.abstract | Teleworking was introduced in 1970 as a new way of organizing work. The rapid development of new communication technologies makes it even easier to incorporate remote work into an organizational structure. Even so, there are many companies that do not know the benefits this type of managerial brings. Many industries of traditional sectors that are committed to introduce the latest technology in the production process, do not see that this also means applying innovation in human resources strategies. This paper presents a plan in order to implement telework in a company of the tile industry in the export department. Thus, we can improve the worker's work-life balance, obtain better benefits of the software used in the company so as to service the needs of international clients and avoid the constant commute and its dangers. This plan follows the process of the decision making seen in business management. It is a challenging project with several advantages such as an increased production, an improvement of the job satisfaction and a saving of money for both the company and the teleworker. Such a plan cannot be applied without considering the particular characteristics of the company so as to have a chance of success. | ca_CA |
