The present work analyzes the life of Remedios Montero "Celia" and his participation in the armed struggle against Francoism. Daughter of a trade unionist of the UGT who was repressed by the Franco regime, she soon offered her support to the anti-Franco guerrilla that operated in the area of Cuenca; when the Guardia Civil intercepted her, she marched with her family to the guerrilla camps located in la Serranía de Cuenca. After the decision of the Communist Party to evacuate the guerrillas, she continued collaborating with the party, guiding the guerrilla groups across the border. In one of these missions, due to a treason, she is arrested and tortured by the Francoist forces. After spending eight years in different prisons, she decided to go to France and to realign with the Communist Party. From France she went to Prague where she took up residence until 1978, the year in which, together with his guerrilla and now sentimental partner, she came back to Spain. [-]
