The preschool period is the basis of the students’ learning. Teachers should be partners during this
period by helping the students learn on their own, and one of the best ways is by playing. Arno
Stern is a German pedagogue who thinks that adults should never stop being children. His
research is carried out in France, where children and adults draw, no matter their age. For Arno
Stern drawing is very important. His personal Formulation theory is based on that. That theory
conceives the process of drawing from the fetal period. My work seeks to conduct and actionresearch in order to verify how Arno Stern’s theory can be applied in a preschool classroom. [-]
