Intervención psicosocial en problemas de conducta: estudio de un caso

Abstract

El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo, reducir los problemas de conducta, así como los comportamientos agresivos y los ataques de ira y frustración, a través de una intervención realizada a un niño de 5 años, víctima de malos tratos por parte de sus progenitores y abandono por parte maternal. Actualmente convive con su padre en la vivienda de sus abuelos. Se han utilizado diferentes instrumentos para observar y valorar la conducta, como registros observacionales, Inventario de Síntomas Infantiles, Stony Brook e Inventario de Problemas en la Escuela, IPE, cumplimentado por la maestra. A partir de las puntuaciones obtenidas en las distintas escalas, se procede a diseñar una intervención psicosocial personalizada, adaptando algunos programas, e incluyendo técnicas cognitivo conductuales, habilidades sociales y resolución de problemas interpersonales e intrapersonales. Los resultados obtenidos, han indicado mejoras importantes en las conductas disruptivas, así como en la reducción de los comportamientos agresivos y los ataques de ira y frustración. Se concluye que la intervención psicosocial realizada ha sido muy positiva para el niño y para el resto de alumnado participante. No obstante, sería necesario continuar trabajando para mantener las mejoras conseguidas y, por otra parte, diseñar otra intervención, con el objetivo de mejorar otras problemáticas.

The objective of this work is to reduce behavioral problems, as well as aggressive behaviors and attacks of anger and frustration, through an intervention carried out a 5-year-old boy, victim of mistreatment by her parents and abandonment by his mother. Nowadays, he lives with his father in the home of his grandparents. Different instruments have been used to observe and assess the behavior, such as observational records, Child Sympton Inventories, Stony Brook and Inventory of Problems in School, IPE, completed by the teacher. From the scores obtained in the different scales, we proceed to design a personalized psychosocial intervention, adapting some programs, and including cognitive behavioral techniques, social skills and resolution of interpersonal and intrapersonal problems. The results obtained have indicated important improvements in disruptive behaviors as well as in the reduction of aggressive behaviors and attacks of anger and frustration. It is concluded that the psychosocial intervention performed has been very positive for the boy and for the rest of the participating students. However, it would be necessary to continue working to maintain the improvements achieved, and design another intervention, with the aim of improving other issues.
