Seguiment mediàtic de la jornada de l’1 d’Octubre a Catalunya. Cas aplicat als noticiaris de TVE i TV3

Abstract

Mass media study applied to the cases of TVE and TV3 on the first of October of 2017. Throughout a general perspective by the framing studies, a template has been developed for the analysis of three elements of measure which are fractioned in some other unities, the material which has been investigated are the newscasts of TVE and the one and only newscast of TV3. Issues as the framing theory of Entman, the historical perspective of the framing articles written by professor Casero and professor López-Rabadán, apart from the audiovisual investigations about that question. These investigations have permitted the development of a quantitative and qualitative measurement mechanism applied to several stratums: political leadership presence on screen, speaking times assigned by the edition of the newscast. The so-called theories which allow in its totality the possibility of showing empirical results about the predilection of a discourse in a data table. Regarding the qualitative aspect, which is evaluated firstly and with less relevance regarding the quantitative one: 1. Responsibility attribution, 2. Morality, 3. Economic consequences, 4. Human interest, etc… which correspond to the classifications of Semetko and Valkenburg (2000). Secondly and more importantly it is investigated if any of both Television channels follow a treatment of political crisis. The results have been contrasted among them with the purpose of establishing the empirical comparison between both elements of study.

Estudi de mitjans de comunicació aplicat als casos de TVE i TV3 el primer d’octubre de 2017. A través d’una perspectiva general dels estudis d’enquadrament, s’ha desenvolupat una plantilla per a l’anàlisi de tres elements de mesura fraccionats en altres unitats. El material que s’ha investigat són els telenotícies de TVE (15h i 21h) i el de migdia de TV3. L’aproximació teórica s’ha fet a través de temes com la teoria d’enquadrament d’Entman, la perspectiva històrica dels articles d’enquadrament escrits pel professor Casero-Ripollés i el professor López-Rabadán i diverses investigacions audiovisuals sobre aquesta qüestió. Aquestes han permès el desenvolupament d’un mecanisme d’anàlisi quantitatiu i qualitatiu aplicat a diversos estrats: Presència de líders polítics a la pantalla, temps de conversa assignats per l’edició del noticiari. Les anomenades teories que permeten en la seva totalitat la possibilitat de mostrar resultats empírics sobre la predilecció d’un discurs en una taula de dades. Pel que fa a l’aspecte qualitatiu, s’avalua en primer lloc i amb menys rellevància a: 1. Atribució de responsabilitat; 2. Moralitat; 3. Conseqüències econòmiques; 4. Interès humà, etc., que corresponen a les classificacions de Semetko i Valkenburg (2000). En segon lloc, i més important, s’investiga si algun dels dos canals de televisió segueix un tractament de la crisi política. Els resultats s’han contrastat entre ells amb l’objectiu d’establir la comparació empírica entre ambdós elements d’estudi.
