La presencia del procés en espacios informativos deportivos. Análisis de Deportes Cuatro y la Sección de Deportes en el Informativo Mediodía de Televisión Española

Abstract

El proceso independentista catalán es uno de los hechos más importantes a nivel político que han acontecido en España durante los últimos años. Dicha importancia se refleja en el gran impacto social que ha tenido el procés, cuyo seguimiento se ha llevado a cabo desde diferentes sectores informativos, afectando en ocasiones a la Agenda Setting y ocasionando situaciones de invasión temática en espacios informativos destinados a emitir otro tipo de sucesos. Este hecho ha repercutido claramente en la sección informativa del deporte, donde la política ha tenido un gran peso a la hora de informar. Para ello, la información se ha filtrado mediante diferentes actores que se encuentran directamente relacionados tanto con el procés independentista catalán, como con la actualidad deportiva. Como medio para llevar a cabo esta investigación, se hará uso de una metodología de análisis cuantitativo. De este modo, los programas especificados serán analizados en su horario de mediodía, llevando a cabo un meticuloso registro de cada uno de ellos, así como del tiempo que emplean y las noticias que realizan. Se llevará un conteo individual de cada una de los videos de la hemeroteca de Cuatro y de TVE que respondan a los parámetros especificados. Todo ello llevará al proyecto a cumplir sus objetivos y resolver las hipótesis planteadas demostrando que efectivamente ha existido presencia de contenidos sobre el conflicto socio-político catalán en los espacios informativos deportivos investigados.

The Catalan independence process is one of the most important political events that have taken place in Spain in recent years. This importance is reflected in the great social impact that the project has had, whose monitoring has been carried out from different information sectors, sometimes affecting the Agenda Setting and causing situations of thematic invasion in informative spaces destined to emit other types of events. This fact has had a clear impact on the sports information sections, where politic has had a great weight when reporting sport information. To do this, the information has been filtered through different actors that are directly related to both the procés pro-independence Catalan, and as well with sports news. As a means to carry out this research, a methodology of quantitative analysis will be used. In this way, the specified programs will be analyzed in their lunchtime hours, carrying out a meticulous record of each of them, as well as the time they use and the news they make. There will be an individual count of every video of the newspaper library of Cuatro and TVE that responds to the specified parameters. All of this will lead the project to meet its objectives and solve the hypotheses proposed demonstrating that efectively there has been presence of the Catalan socio-political conflict in the content of the sports information areas investigated.
