En el presente proyecto se presenta la validación de un método que permita la detección y
cuantificación de13 compuestos carbonílicos que forman parte de diferentes componentes del
interior de los vehículos, siguiendo las normas automovilísticas FLTM BZ 156-01, D40 3004/--A y
GMW 15635.
Las muestras son trozos de dichos materiales y los analitos son en su mayoría, compuestos
volátiles o semi-volátiles. Por ello, se procedió a someter a las muestras a un tratamiento
térmico en un recipiente cerrado con cierta cantidad de agua, en el cual, lo analitos migran hacia
la misma. Tras esto, los compuestos se someten a una derivatización y a su posterior detección
mediante cromatografía líquida de alta resolución acoplada a un detector de ultravioleta-visible
(HPLC-UV). En primera instancia, se realizó un estudio previo con disoluciones de estos
compuestos de concentración conocida, para la optimización de la derivatización y del método
cromatográfico. [-]

In this project we present the validation of a method that allows the detection and
quantification of 13 carbonyl compounds that are part of different components of the interior
of vehicles, following the automotive standards FLTM BZ 156-01, D40 3004 / - A and GMW 15635
The samples are pieces of those materials and the analytes are mostly volatile or semivolatile compounds. For this reason, the samples were subjected to a heat treatment in a closed
container with a certain amount of water, in which the analytes migrate towards it. After this,
the compounds are subjected to derivatization and subsequent detection by high-performance
liquid chromatography coupled to an ultraviolet-visible detector (HPLC-UV). In the first instance,
a preliminary study was carried out with solutions of these compounds of known concentration,
for the optimization of the derivatization and the chromatographic method. [-]
