The paper below seeks to analyse the impact of microcredit on women's access
to employment in developing countries. To address this issue, the microfinance
financial sector, the actors involved, the comparison with traditional credit and the
importance of microcredit for women have been taken into account, as they are the
main beneficiaries, being the first to repay loans on time. The other part of the study
focuses on analyzing macroeconomic and microfinance variables and their
relationship. Thanks to microcredit, many people in developing countries have been
able to become entrepreneurs and create some small business and, therefore, improve
their quality of life. [-]
