El lenguaje musical a través de las danzas del mundo

Abstract

Actualmente vivimos en un mundo globalizado donde acceder a determinada información es mucho más fácil, esto hace que no solo podamos conectarnos con los que nos rodean, sino que también podemos hacerlo con otras personas de diferentes países y por lo tanto con otras culturas. Asimismo, la escuela tiene un objetivo integrador con este hecho intercultural, y qué mejor manera de hacerlo que a través de la música. Para ello se ha diseñado un método mediante el cual se pueda enseñar el lenguaje musical a través de las danzas del mundo. Este hecho conlleva a un descubrimiento y aprendizaje por parte del alumnado no simplemente de los contenidos establecidos que hacen referencia a la educación musical, sino que se amplían y se conocen otras culturas diferentes a las del origen. De esta manera se da respuesta no solo a la diversidad de culturas dentro del aula, sino también poder ampliar horizontes y despertar en los alumnos curiosidad y sobre todo saber valorar a otras culturas, favoreciendo así a la eliminación del etnocentrismo. De este modo se sigue dando respuesta a la educación musical, pero ofreciendo un material que aboga por una aplicación mediante una metodología activa y participativa por parte del alumnado.

Nowadays we live in a globalized world where the access to particular information is much easier, this does not only make us able to connect with the people around, but we can do it with other people from different countries and cultures. Additionally, the school has a conciliatory personality with this intercultural fact, and there is no better way than doing it through music. In order to do that, a method has been designed. By means of it the musical language can be taught through the world’s dances. This fact leads to discovery and learning by the pupils not only of the established contents related to music education, but they also expand and know other cultures different from their own. In this way, not only an answer is given to the diversity of cultures but they also widen their horizons and they awake their curiosity, and more importantly, they learn to value other cultures, favoring the elimination of ethnocentrism. Therefore, an answer to music education is still given, but offering material that stands up for an application by means of an active and participative methodology from the pupils.
