Asthma
is a disease that has three peculiar components:
hypersensitivity of the
airways, bronchial obstruction
and allergic inflammation.
On the one hand, in asthmatics
children, sport is one of the reason
of bronchospasm and occurs between 80
-
90% of
asthmatics.
Therefore, the management of the pathology must be clear, structured and concise
so that it doesn
`t pro
duce limitations in the children who suffer from it.
The continuous
practice of excercise and good treatment improves the
symptomatology derived from asthma.
Objective
:
The main objective
of the review is to check the benefit of an early education for
heal
th in asthmatic athlete children.
Methods
:
An integrative review of the literature is performed through the search in four
scientific datab
ases: PubMed, Cochrane Plus, BVS
and CINAHL.
Through, t
he combination
of thesaurus
connected by boleanos (AND, OR),
the fourteen articles included in the review
are obtained.
The scientific search for information began in January of the year 2018 and was
finally finalized in April of the year 2018.
Conclusions
:
Early nursing education
has proved to be efficient in asthm
atic sports children
in terms of impr
ov
ing greater sports performances
a
s well as an increase in the quality of life
of asthma
tic children and their parents
,
and decrease the symptoms of the p
athology.
In its
favor the greater exercise performance will
reduce the use of usual pharmacological
treatment [-]
