The present project "Comparative Study of Reversible Electrodialysis and Reverse
Osmosis Facilities for Water Treatment and Execution Proposal" hereinafter REROF,
develops the calculation, sizing and economic feasibility study of a drinking water
treatment plant in the La Lloma industrial estate, for a production of 1000 m3/day. The
supply water will come from well 1, next to the plot where the water treatment plant will
be located.
The plot to be occupied belongs to the municipality of Villalonga, located to the northwest
of the La Lloma industrial estate, next to an agricultural pesticide and fertilizer company.
The aim of this project is to carry out the necessary works for the construction of a
drinking water treatment plant with a capacity of 1116 m3/day that will come from well
1. The aforementioned facilities are foreseen for the maximum capacity of the water
treatment plants.
A study of the different desalination technologies will be carried out, in particular the
processes of water treatment by pressure and electrodialysis will be studied. Said study
will be based mainly on the quality of feed water, with the purpose of selecting the most
economically viable technology. [-]
