aceptarla. [-]

Advertising is based on insights to reach consumers more easily and make they
feel that they are part of the brand community. In this way, each brand has to
find the way to differentiate themselves from the rest and build their identity
over those truths to make it credible, solid and unique.
In the following pages we will talk about powerful brand insight that Pixar
Animation Studios got create, and how this imaginary influences contemporary
advertising, specifically on the spot. For it, advertising is considered as an
audiovisual text formed by other texts from differents origins such as painting,
photography and cinema.
To observe how advertising appropiates Pixar’s insight, this final degree project
will sudy a spot made using the technique that Pixar uses in each of its
productions: infographic animation, commonly known as computer animation.
Although before analyzing the advertisement, we will determine the work's
study object, in addition to talk about whether audience are identified in the
same way in real action movies as in animated films. All of this will be treated in
the theorical framework and the applied in the practical analysis where we will
detail the guidelines of the quantitative and qualitative study. Finally, we will
extract conclusions about the spot in question and return to the hypothesis
proposed to refute or accept it. [-]
