This project details the research work I carried out during my traineeship in the Bremen Spatial Cognition Center within the framework of Erasmus+ traineeship. Throughout this document, a qualitative model for describing 2-D objects according to their shapes is presented, as well as an approach to compose the descriptions of these objects. As a proof of concept, the previous model has been implemented in Prolog and a Dataset of 117 objects and 15 spatial reasoning problems that deals with object composition has been built. The application has shown itself capable to solve them all, choosing the correct answer from among several options.ca_CA
