Is there information that we can’t know through the internet? The answer is no. With our
smartphones, computers ... we get almost any information instantly. And companies are
becoming more aware of it.
This research aims to defend the idea that 2.0 tools, especially social networks, are a
key element for the business strategy of Spanish companies when looking for staff to fill
positions, and to be able to form a template with talent.
To carry out a more complete study, an analysis of social networks and recruitment is
carried out, relating both concepts with the objective of analyzing the influence of social
networks on the strategy of business recruitment. The first block, the theoretical framework is composed of four sections. The first part
dedicated to the evolution of the value of individuals and the importance of HR
management in companies. The second part explains what recruitment 2.0 is all about,
what tools there are, and their usefulness. The third part focuses on the importance of
social networks in the recruitment of staff and the existence of other tools 2.0 other than
social networks. And fourthly, an analysis of the influence of social networks on HR
professionals and user candidates.
After the theoretical framework, the methodology of this qualitative research is explained.
To conclude, we present the conclusions reached from the results obtained in the
analysis. The conclusion reached is that social networks are of great importance in the
recruitment process and in the external image of the organization. In addition, in the
process of job search by the candidates. [-]
