Importance of webpages in maritime trade: A focus on how to promote Roca Castellón Consignaciones, S.L.

Abstract

The aim of this paper is to provide a feasible proposal on the creation of a website for the company Roca Castellón Consignaciones, S.L. In order to achieve this properly, first of all, a brief description of the area of work of the shipping agency has been provided together with the particularities of the company itself. Furthermore, towards the realisation of the webpage, it has been provided a complete explanation of the most relevant aspects which have to be taken into account to build it successfully. Apart from that, there is an enumeration of the most important advantages of creating a site for an enterprise, for instance, the connection between companies from different parts of the world as well as the competitive improvement in terms of style and visibility in business as it is in individuals. Applying all this insight achieved, the goal of proposing a website for the company has been reached. In this regard, an explanation of the decisions made for the creation of the page is made together with descriptive images highlighting the points in which the theoretical research has played a key role. As a conclusion, an evaluation of the results is shown. To finish with the concepts acquired during the master applied to this paper. Furthermore, leaving room for further research and possible improvements of this study in the future.
