Nowadays 3D animation is not only for important film or video game studios, more and more
sectors such as music or advertising use this technique. In this field there are opposing views about
using Motion Capture (MOCAP) to animate non-human characters. This project focuses on this
topic by making a comparison between this technique and keyframe animation. Two characters,
only one with human shape, are going to be modeled, rigged and animated with the purpose to
express emotions without facial animation. [-]
