The Roman civilization was developed during twelve centuries between which they
differentiate three different stages: Monarchy, Republic and Empire. It was in this last stage

of Britania with the Scottish lands, until the historical Mesopotamia; from the courses of the
Rhine and Danube rivers to the Iberian Peninsula and the Mediterranean coasts of Africa.
Their customs and traditions were introduced in the conquered territories and they became
part of our present life. [-]
