Proposal: The objective of this essay is to identify and showcase the importance of the high commitment model and its effect on the employees of some organizations. Therefore, the present document shows, firstly, the evolution of human resources management, its different approaches and the authors who have made a major contribution to it. The document will show later the fundamental axes of the human resources strategy and the distinction between the control and commitment model. In the end, an in-depth analysis is performed on the high commitment model and how it is carried out in a particular company. Design / Methodology: This paper is based on a theoretical review of the high commitment model, focusing on its practices and effects. [-]
