This article reflects the most significant relationships that revolve around the son
immersed in a reconstituted family. The figure of the child has been chosen because,
from all the members, it is the one with the greatest number of relationships, both with
the members of their family of origin and with the new members adhered to their new
family reality. On the other hand, the most significant consequences that the quality and
form of relationships have on children are exposed. For this, a review of the scientific
literature has been carried out with its focus on this type of family and its members.
Since most of the literature focuses on the deficits and difficulties involved in
reconstituted families, this article has also attempted to reflect those articles that offer a
vision of the strengths that these members can develop in the reconstitution process
family. [-]
