| ca_CA |
dc.description.abstract | In some mental illnesses, as in schizophrenia we find a dysfunctional emotional regulation that can cause negative cognitive biases, and, therefore, a little adaptive cognitive style. We consider that the social support factor had an influence in the self-regulation in patients with schizophrenia. We conducted a descriptive study where we administered an ad hoc questionnaire of personal questions to know the social support, and the translated version of Hervás (2008) of the scale of ruminative responses (Ruminative Responses Scale, RRS, Nolen-Hoeksema, 1991). The first hypothesis we posed was that patients would have a high value on RRS, and the second hypothesis was that the social support factor would have influence on the scale’s scores. The results didn’t support either hypothesis, however, a difference was found between the two scale factors, rumination and brooding, subjects have a higher value in the latter factor. | ca_CA |
