La Inteligencia Emocional en Educación Infantil. Propuesta didáctica para el conocimiento de las emociones básicas

Abstract

La Inteligencia Emocional es desde hace algunos años un tema que ha generado grandes debates a partir de las diferentes investigaciones realizadas por autores como Goleman, Salovey y Mayer, Bar-On... Sin embargo, todos llegan a conclusiones donde afirman la importancia que tiene este aspecto en los individuos, ya que a través de su trabajo y desarrollo, se ayuda al crecimiento personal, moral, cognitivo y emocional de las personas. Este trabajo es importante que empiece a desarrollarse desde los primeros años de vida, donde los individuos forjan sus bases personales. Por este motivo, los ambientes en los que se desarrollan estos individuos durante este tiempo, familia y la escuela, deben apoyar y ayudar este proceso. El contexto escolar, durante muchos años no ha dado importancia al trabajo de las emociones. Sin embargo, actualmente es observable que en muchas ocasiones las programaciones de aula lo incluyen, ya que los conocimientos y las emociones son aspectos unidos para garantizan el desarrollo humano. Por tanto, durante este trabajo se plantea una unidad didáctica con la que trabajar la Inteligencia Emocional a partir del conocimiento de las emociones básicas, ya que se trata de una propuesta planteada a un aula de 4 años, y en esta edad los niños y niñas tienen la capacidad de comprender e interiorizar estas emociones

The Emotional Intelligence is a topic which has generated many debates through the investigations of different authors such us, Goleman, Salovey and Mayer, Bar-On... Nevertheless, all of them come to conclusions in which they affirm the importance of the Emotional Intelligence in people. That is because through work and development, the people’s personal, moral, cognitive and emotional growth is increased. So, it is important that this project starts along the first years of people’s life because it is where they build their personal bases. For this reason, the environment, family and school in which they develop themselves throughout those initial years should help to fulfill this process. For many years, the school context has not given importance to the emotional work. However, nowadays in the teaching guide of many school this work is included due to the fact that the knowledge and emotions are connected aspects that guarantee the human development. Therefore, this project suggests a teaching unit that deal with the Emotional Intelligence obtained from the knowledge of basic emotions. That is because, it is a proposal which focuses on a 4-years-old-classrom, an age in which children both girls and boys have the ability to comprehend and interiorize these presented emotions.
