The intrinsic motivation of employees is vital to increase their self-efficiency and thus
achieve a better achievement of organizational goals. In this sense, based on the
relationships between managers and employees, it is good to develop an effective
leadership style in the organization to motivate employees. Leaders who want to exert
more influence for employee behaviours must be flexible. That is, he /she should be a
transformational leader, depending on each specific situation and moment varies their
attitude, behaviour and way of guiding the followers. The main objective of this study is
to verify if the transformational leadership exerts a positive influence on the intrinsic
motivation of the employees of Asfer Consulting, and therefore, it favors the
organizational growth. [-]
