The aim of this article is to analyze the resources and beliefs towards family diversity
that 49 students showed before and after the development of the subject Education
for Diversity taught at the Degree in Early Childhood Education (DECE) at Universitat
Jaume I. In order to analyze the impact of the intervention a quasi-experimental
design with one pretest-posttest group was conducted and we used the instrument
Ideas Questionnaire about family diversity. Results indicated no significant differences
before and after taking the course, but they did improve their attitude and knowledge
of pedagogical tools to work with the topic at class. [-]
