For the last 20 years Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) have appeared into all fields of the society. For this reason, different areas of it have been adapting to apply the possible advantages of these new resources. The paradigm of education has changed to offer a completely new learning experience, enhanced by governments and institutions.
The aim of this project is to provide a complete view of the outcomes derived after the application of new policies to promote the use of ICT in Spain and The United States. For this purpose, a comparative analysis of the policies and resources has been made. In addition, a study of all the resources its possible applications have been established.
The results obtained indicate how a more direct approach to foster the use of ICT provides a better proficiency, and an advancement in educational performance opposed to the use of a more traditional approach. [-]
