Baremos de aceptación y rechazo en el alumnado de primero y segundo de educación primaria

Abstract

Sentirse querido es una necesidad inherente del ser humano. Ya durante la infancia, un niño necesita formar parte de un grupo, no sólo dentro del seno familiar sino también por sus iguales. Sin embargo, en muchas ocasiones, este niño no es querido por el resto de sus compañeros. Si esta situación es provocada por varios de ellos y se alarga en el tiempo estamos ante la figura del rechazo. Para poder aportar más datos sobre este problema y dado que en el contexto escolar es donde se crean las primeras relaciones sociales, el objetivo de este trabajo es realizar un baremo que mida el grado de intensidad de aceptación y rechazo entre iguales desde este momento de la infancia. Utilizaremos para ello, una muestra de varios centros escolares de la provincia de Castellón, formada por 262 y 226 alumnos de primero y segundo de Educación Primaria, respectivamente. Los resultados obtenidos indican que sí existe esta figura en el primer ciclo de Educación Primaria, habiendo un 12.2% de niños rechazados en el primer curso, y un 13.3% en el segundo.

To feel being liked is a human need. Since childhood, a child needs to be part of a group, not only within families but along his peers. However, it exists the possibility that the rest of peers don’t like this child. If this situation is caused by some of those children and it maintains for a period of time, it can develop the concept of rejection. This investigation develops a scale that allows us to measure the grade of acceptance and rejection between peers from childhood. Its objective is to bring more light to this problem of rejection, focusing on a school environment where the first social relations are originated. For that, we are going to use a sample from different schools of Castellon province which will be make for 262 and 226 students of first and second year, respectively. The results of our investigation indicate that it does exist this concept of rejection in the first period in Elementary School, having a 12.2% of children rejected in the first year of school and a 13.3% in the second.
