The main purpose of this study is controlling the chemical stability of drinking water of
Torreblanca (Castellón, Spain). The sampling was carried out in three different locations, to
preserve the representation of data during three months, from February to April 2016. pH,
Temperature, Chlorine and Conductivity were measured ‘in situ’ in accordance to the sampling
calendar. According to the available instruments at the laboratory, eight different analyses
were chosen: Alkalinity (Acid-Base Titration), Hardness (Acid-Base Titration), Chloride
(Selective Electrode Method), Sulphates (Turbidimetric Method), Nitrates (Atomic Absorption
Spectrometry), Sodium (Flame Atomic Absorption Spectrometer), Ammonia (Selective
Electrode Method) and Dry Matter (Evaporation Method). [-]
