dc.description.abstractThis work consists on the implementation of different techniques for the discovery of new anticancer compounds. In this group research, different tumor cell lines (HELA, HEK-293, MCF-7, HT-29) are used and currently has launched a new line, which are leukemia cells (HL-60). Some of the tests of this work are to know what concentration of the compound affects tumor cells or does not. We have also studied the cell viability and proliferation in the presence of some compounds. Another test is to know the amount of polymerized tubulin to see if cell division is inhibited or is not. Finally, it has tuned the optical microscope to observe with labeled compounds if they affect the cell or do not.ca_CA
