The aim of this educational project is to make our pupils aware of the value and the conservation of
the archaeological heritage. For that reason, we have decided to work through the Roman Villas of
Hispania, using archaeology as an existential and cooperative strategy. In this way, the
experimentation and the discovery developed by the pupils, would favour the knowledge of the
history of their nearby surroundings, managing a better understanding of it and generating empathy
towards the sites of archaeological and cultural heritage. Finally, the methods outlined as well as the
activities, promote new ways of work from the 1st course of E.S.O. until the 2nd of Bachiller, making
them more attractive for the pupils, and thereby favouring their learning. [-]
