In this paper we’re talking about bullying from several perspectives.
First I must say that bullying is a problem of our society, it has always been a greater
or lesser extent, but for some years, is a more visible problem either by increased
coverage given by the media or because actually there has been an increase in cases
of children suffering this harassment in schools. In Spain, since it happened the Jokin
case, which we will see later, investigations of this phenomenon to know further have
increased. There are many cases of children suffering harassment that decide to
commit suicide (bullycide) to end this situation which can not be resolved, as Jokin.
To know well this situation, it must be studied both from a psychological perspective
and from a legal point of view. There is no profile victim of bullying, any child may
suffer this harassment, although there are certain common characteristics that can
present them. As for the legislation, there are certain legal types in which you can
include these behaviors, but there is no provision dealing exclusively bullying. We
should not forget about prevention, since it is most important to try to reduce the
number of cases that occur in our country. [-]
