La educación infantil en el siglo XX

Abstract

En el presente documento, tengo como objetivo hacer un repaso de la educación infantil en España. Para ello, empezaré con una mirada a la actualidad, estableciendo qué cambios ha sufrido la educación, así como el reconocimiento y la responsabilidad que recae sobre la escuela de hoy en día en contraposición a lo que ocurría en parte del siglo XIX y en el XX. Además, se reconocerá la evolución de la figura del niño1, pasando del analfabetismo y obligados a trabajar a, en el siglo XX, ser seres con derechos fundamentales. Por lo tanto, es necesario remontarse hasta el siglo XIX para entender la educación actual, haciendo un recorrido desde la Ley Moyano (1857) hasta la LOGSE (1990), enfatizando en las leyes y en los hechos políticos, sociales y económicos que tuvieron lugar durante ese período en España. Finalmente, se hará una reflexión sobre cómo el sistema educativo actual sigue teniendo rasgos de la enseñanza tradicional y como sigue estando influido por la política.

This document aims to make a review of the Spanish education. A look at the life of education system will be done and, also, will be portrayed the changes that the education has suffered, as well as the recognition and the responsibility that nowadays lies on the school in contrast on what happened in the 19th and the 20th century. Besides, the child evolution will be described from being non-literate children forced to work to, on the 20th century, human being with essential rights. Therefore, it’s necessary to date back to the 19th century to understand the current education, making a review since the Ley Moyano (1857) until the LOGSE (1990), emphasizing on the laws and the political, social and economical events during that time in Spain. Finally, a reflection will be made about how the current educational system still has some features of the traditional teaching and how this system continues to be influenced by politics
