Ciberbullying : un estudio en el primer ciclo de la ESO

Abstract

Este trabajo analiza el fenómeno del ciberbullying, su conceptualización, cómo se manifiesta y las diferencias entre grooming y sexting, puesto que es una problemática que causa mucha preocupación a la sociedad hoy en día. El objetivo general de este trabajo es analizar la incidencia del ciberbullying en el primer ciclo de la ESO del colegio Nuestra Señora de la Consolación de Burriana. Para ello, se administró un cuestionario a 18 profesores del tercer ciclo de Educación Primaria y Secundaria para determinar el grado de conocimiento que tienen los profesores sobre este fenómeno y, la aplicación de otro cuestionario a 111 alumnos de 1º (N= 57) y 2º de ESO (N= 54) para conocer el grado de incidencia del ciberbullying entre los adolescentes. Los resultados muestran que en 1º ESO el 12% de chicas creen que se producen más ciberbullying a comparación con los chicos (0%), y no existen diferencias significativas en cuanto al rol de víctima (13% en chicos y 15% en chicas) y agresor (9%). Sin embargo, sí que existen diferencias en cuanto a 2º ESO, puesto que ponen de manifiesto que no se produce ciberbullying en ninguno de los dos géneros y disminuyen los casos de cibervíctimas a comparación del otro curso (4% en chicas y 10% en chicos). Por ello, consideramos adecuado el diseñar dos programas dirigidos al alumnado y al profesorado con la finalidad de dar respuesta a la problemática del bullying dentro del contexto educativo.

This project analyzes the phenomenon about ciberbullying, its conceptualization, how it manifest itself and the differences between grooming and sexting, as it is an issue which causes much concern to the society nowadays. The general aim of this project is to analyze the incidence of ciberbullying in the first ESO cycle at Nuestra Señora de la Consolación School in Burriana. For it, it was given a questionnaire to 18 teacher in the third Primary and Secondary Education cycle to determine the knowledge grade that these teachers have about this phenomenon and, the performance of another questionnaire to 111 pupils from first ESO (57 pupils) and Second ESO (54 pupils) to know the grade of incidence of ciberbullying among teenagers. The result shows that in first ESO, 12% of girls think ciberbullying occurs compared with 0% of boys. There is not a significant difference between the victim (13% in boys and 15% in girls) and aggressor (9%). However, there are differences as to Second ESO, since they state ciberbullying is not present in any of both genders and cibervictims cases decrease compared with the other course (4 in girls and 10% in boys). Because of it, it is suitable to consider designing two programmes directed to pupils and teachers in order to give an answer to the bullying issue in the educational context.
