La historia agraria en la historiografía alemana contemporánea

Abstract

El artículo establece un acercamiento al papel de la historia agraria dentro de la historiografía alemana contemporánea. En primer lugar recorre la tradición previa al despliegue de la Nueva Historia Agraria –Neue Agrargeschichte – y anterior a los años noventa. El marco de apertura creado por la Neue Sozialgeschichte, los conocimientos acumulados por la tradición anterior así como las aproximaciones desde la historia regional de los ochenta y desde la moderna etnología también asentaron bases sobre las que se edificaron los trabajos posteriores. Las nuevas corrientes historiográficas, como la Alltagsgeschichte o la Neue Kulturgeschichte, han dado también sus frutos en el estudio del medio agrario, como lo ha hecho la microhistoria. Los nuevos estudios de historia agraria han incorporado la historia agraria alemana a debates europeos, como es el caso de las reformas grarias del siglo XIX. La consideración de la diversidad regional, la ruptura con la idea de una “vía prusiana”, o el estudio del fenómeno desde la pluralidad de actores incluidos en las transformaciones han sido algunas de las aportaciones. La cuestión medioambiental, la historia de la empresa agroalimentaria, los estudios sobre la familia, la protesta social o de las mujeres en el medio agrario son algunas de las contribuciones más recientes, así como el análisis de las formas de comunicación en las sociedades rurales, el papel de los medios de comunicación, el proceso de desagrarización –Entagrarisierung- en el siglo XX o la colectivización de la RDA.

The present article focuses on the role of the contemporary agrarian history in the German historiography. First it is studied the wide tradition that was previous to the New Agrarian History - Neue Agrargeschichte -. The new frame opened by the Neue Sozialgeschichte, some accumulated knowledge of the previous tradition as well as the approaches from the regional history of the 1980s and the modern ethnology were the basis to build the new works from the 1990s. The new history trends as the AJJtagsgeschichte or the Neue Kulturgeschichte have also reported new researches into the agrarian society as well as the microhistory. The new studies of agrarian history from the nineties have incorporated the German agrarian history to the discussions of other European countries. In relation to the agrarian reforms of the 19th century, the new subjects of the research: the regional diversity, the rupture with the "Prussian road" and the study of the plural actors were included in this transformation. The environmental history, the research into the agro-alimentary company, studies on the family, the social protest or the role of the women in the agrarian society are some of the most recent contributions. The analysis of the new forms of communication in the rural societies Like the process of introduction of the writing and reading as well as the mass media are important issues too. The study of the process of - Entagrarisierung – in 19th century and the collectivization in the FRG are also new interesting contributions of this new agrarian history.
