DEL ARTE CINEMATOGRÁFICO A LA IMAGEN POSTELEVISIVA: CO-EDUCACIÓN AUDIOVISUAL ANTE LAS REPRESENTACIONES DE LA FEMINIDAD

Abstract

En este trabajo crítico vamos a hacer referencia tanto al imaginario legado desde el pasado como, más detalladamente, a cierto imaginario contemporáneo. Partiremos de la alusión a imágenes estereotipadas de la feminidad, como el llamado «ángel del hogar», en el arte cinematográfico narrativo (Guillamón, 2012), mencionando también su pervivencia en los estereotipos de género de las imágenes televisivas más recientes (Belmonte y Guillamón, 2008), cuya ficción es heredera directa del arte cinematográfico. Ello nos permitirá extendernos finalmente en el análisis de un imaginario postelevisivo (Belmonte, 2012), cuyo espectáculo no resulta menos reaccionario por ser más actual, está directamente vinculado además a las cuestiones escolares y de género, y requiere por tanto de la aplicación de una urgente co-educación audiovisual.

In this article we will refer to both the imaginary inherited from the past and, in more detail, to certain contemporary imaginary. We begin by looking at stereotypical images of femininity in narrative cinema, such as the so-called «ángel del hogar» (domestic angel) (Guillamón, 2012), and also mention their persistence in the gender stereotypes of more recent television (Belmonte and Guillamón, 2008), whose fiction is a direct descendant of cinematographic art. These stereotyped images allow us to present an in-depth analysis of one specific text of post-television imaginary (Belmonte, 2012), which despite being more recent is no less reactionary, and indeed is directly linked to some gender and educational issues that call for the urgent application of an audiovisual co-education.
