UNA CRUZ EN EL PECHO. EL ORIGEN DE LA VIOLENCIA EN LA VIDA Y EL ARTE

Abstract

Desde el nacimiento de las primeras civilizaciones, la mujer ha estado vinculada a la capacidad creadora en muchos ámbitos de la vida: vital, artístico, social, educacional y emocional. Ya sea como madre, musa, pedagoga, artista o ciudadana. De un tiempo a esta parte, todas las creaciones de mujeres artistas están mostrándonos un inmenso dolor… Tanto, que me parece crucial entender este proceso que estamos viviendo y detenernos en el origen para conocer las causas y las consecuencias de esta tendencia. El análisis de sus obras nos hará plantearnos la violencia que se está ejerciendo en contra de todo lo femenino, así como la que está empezando a surgir desde lo femenino (como personas capaces de generar violencia) y que va a conducirnos a una teoría que une la creación artística, por un lado, y los exorcismos contra el dolor, por otro. Ese vínculo de unión es lo que se explicará en este texto, conociendo que, por encima de todo, los valores estéticos están conectados, sin duda, a los valores éticos de la humanidad. Y que, como creadores y creadoras, tenemos una responsabilidad con lo que proyectamos al mundo.

Since the birth of the first civilizations, woman has been linked to the creative capacity in many areas of life: vital, artistic, social, educational and emotional. Either as mother, muse, artist, pedagogue or citizen… Lately, all the creations of women artists are showing us much pain. So much so that I find it crucial to understand this process that we are currently living and stop and search for the causes and the consequences of this trend. The analysis of works will make us consider the violence that is exerted against the feminine, as well as what is beginning to emerge from the feminine (as people who generate violence) and that will lead us to a theory linking artistic creation, on the one hand, and exorcisms against pain, on the other. This link is what will be explained in this text, knowing that, above all, aesthetic values are connected, no doubt, to the ethical values of humanity. And, as creative people, we have a responsibility with what we bring to the world.
