pintado, fotografiado, escrito, musicado o escenificado.

Pain is one of the most intense creative forces. Along history, Art has painted, photographed, written,
musicalized or adapted it for the stage. Feeling empathy for the other’s pain or focusing on one’s own,
artists have delved into its reasons and have faced its consequences. Women artists, and especially
feminist artists, have used it as a starting point for many of their works. In this text we will refer, in a
fragmentary way, to visions and artistic experiences where pain appears as a central and significant
element. [-]
