Género y salud ocupacional: revisión de su situación en España

Abstract

La perspectiva de género en el estudio de la salud es reciente, fomentado por la Ley de Igualdad efectiva entre mujeres y hombres. Aunque esta perspectiva de género no está universalmente adoptada en el contexto español, sí que existen una serie de investigadores y/o grupos de investigación en el ámbito de la salud que han comenzado a incorporarla. Por ello, el objetivo de este estudio es analizar los principales equipos de investigación existentes en España relacionados con salud psicosocial y género en general, y salud psicosocial en el trabajo en particular. Para ello, hemos llevado a cabo un análisis de las publicaciones realizadas por estos equipos a partir de diferentes bases de datos observando en qué aspectos se centran, y las colaboraciones entre diferentes equipos de investigación. Los resultados muestran la existencia de al menos 6 grupos de investigación en España, aunque tan solo uno se centra en el contexto laboral. Este estudio supone un primer paso de cara a la iniciación de esta línea de investigación (género y salud ocupacional) en la Universitat Jaume I.

The gender perspective in the study of the health is recent, promoted for the Law of Effective Equality between women and men. Though this gender perspective or it is not universally adopted in the Spanish context, it exist a series of researchers and /or research groups in the area of the health that have begun to incorporate it. For it, the aim of this study is to analyze the main existing Spanish research related to psychosocial health and gender in general, and in occupational health psychosocial in particular. To do it, we have carried out an analysis of the publications performed by these teams from different databases observing on which aspects they focus, and the collaborations between different research teams. The results show the existence of at least 6 research teams in Spain, though only 1 focuses on the work context. This study means the first step towards the beginning of this line of research (gender and occupational health) in the Universitat Jaume I.
