Aprendre el talent per a una "Vida Bona". Una biografia educativa contada indisciplinarment

Abstract

Com educador em pregunto pel fi últim de l’educació. L’intueixo proper a la qüestió sobre «el sentit de la vida». Les respostes omplin quilomètrics prestatges de la biblioteca humana. «Viure harmònicament amb ‘la naturalesa humana’» és una resposta acceptable. Mes, com educar per a aconseguir tal cosa? Juan (89 anys) afirma que, de la seua vida, no canviaria ni un minut! Considera la seua una «vida bona». Com educador vull saber: «Què i com aprengué per a assolir aqueix talent (l’art de viure)? Quin bagatge educatiu l’equipà per al viatge vital?». La tesi descriu el procés recorregut per aconseguir les respostes: centro el problema d’investigació, aclareixo conceptes bàsics, contextualitzo històricament, i li demano que em conte la vida. El nucli metodològic biogràfic-narratiu s’enriqueix amb aportacions de diverses Ciències Socials. Explicito la difracció epistèmica fruit de la història personal de l’investigador. Finalment, analitzo hermenèuticament la narració reflexionant conclusions sobre qüestions humanes i socials relacionades amb l'educació.

As an educator, I wonder about the ultimate goal of education. I feel it close to the question of «the meaning of life». The answers fill miles of shelves in the human library. «Living in harmony with 'human nature'» is an acceptable answer. But, how to educate to achieve such a thing? Juan (89 years old) states that, in his life, he would not change a single minute! It has been a «good life». Then, I want to know: «What and how did he learn to achieve this talent (the art of living)? What educational background does he have for life?» The dissertation describes the process involved in obtaining the answers: I focus on the research problem, clarify basic concepts, contextualize historically, and ask him to tell me his life. The biographical-narrative methodological core is enriched with contributions from several Social Sciences. I also explain the epistemic diffraction resulting from the personal history of the researcher. Finally, I hermeneutically analyze the narrative by reflecting on conclusions about human and social issues related to education.
