Del miedo a la alteridad al reconocimiento del cuerpo : una perspectiva desde la filosofía para la Paz

Abstract

En estas reflexiones vamos a mantener una de las tesis en que venimos trabajando en nuestra propuesta de filosofía para hacer las paces, la transformación pacífica de los conflictos y la filosofía del cuidar, sintetizada en la siguiente formulación: una manera de afrontar el miedo, la fragilidad, y vulnerabilidad que supone el descubrimiento de la alteridad, la diversidad y la diferencia, pasa por el reconocimiento del cuerpo. Para ello, en primer lugar resumiremos brevemente algunos de los “errores filosóficos” heredados en relación con el cuerpo. En segundo lugar sintetizaremos la herencia recibida desde la cual, en nuestra formación filosófica, ha influido fundamentalmente, una fenomenología del cuerpo. Finalmente, reconstruiremos de forma sistemática algunos indicadores que venimos estudiando en los que el reconocimiento de los cuerpos, ligados a la configuración de la identidad humana, constituye un elemento fundamental para hacer las paces, para vivir en paz, y transformar los conflictos por medios pacíficos.

In these considerations we are going to maintain one of the theses we have been working on in our proposal for philosophy for making peace, the peaceful transformation of conflicts and the philosophy of caring, which can be summed up in the following formulation: one way of dealing with the fear, fragility and vulnerability resulting from the discovery of otherness, diversity and difference necessarily entails acknowledging the body. Accordingly, first we will briefly outline some of the “philosophical errors" that we have inherited concerning the body. Then, we will sum up the inheritance that has been passed down to us and in which, in our philosophical training, a phenomenology of the body has had an essential influence. Lastly, we will systematically reconstruct some indicators that we have been studying in recent work, in which the acknowledgement of bodies, linked to the makeup of human identity, constitutes a fundamental element for making peace, for living in peace and for transforming conflicts by peaceful means.
