dc.description.abstractAn advanced oxidation heterogeneous process completely degrades 4-nitrophenol in weak acid ambient aqueous conditions using post-synthetically iron-doped nickel azolate frameworks. The framework crystallinity, porosity and reactivity of the redox-active iron (II/III) sites, hydroxyl anions and radicals upon H2O2 pretreatment are discussed based on spectroscopic analysis of the reaction mixture and pretreated MOF.ca_CA
